This methodology goes beyond simply \u201cdrawing\u201d plans\u2014it consists of <em>modelling information<\/em>.<br>BIM files are <strong>digital 3D models<\/strong> of buildings, structures, systems, and components, created using real construction materials and incorporating key product data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A BIM model integrates all the information that professionals in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) sector may require to design, execute, and maintain a building and its systems. This information is structured under various Levels of Development (LOD), reflecting a project&#8217;s virtual construction and, ultimately, how its assets are managed. This allows for more efficient information management throughout the entire lifecycle of a project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">BIM models can be used in architectural, structural, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) designs. Combining these models provides a comprehensive and highly coordinated project that benefits all stakeholders, from design through construction and into ongoing maintenance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Since 2019, BIM methodology has been mandatory in Spain for public works and infrastructure projects.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At Pemsa, we understand that BIM is both the present and the future of the AEC industry. That\u2019s why we\u2019ve developed a comprehensive catalogue of products and systems that can be integrated into BIM models, delivering the advantage of true-to-scale real elements along with instant access to all the data professionals may need.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The library required for operating the Metatray\u00ae insulating cable tray system is provided in RVT project format. Download the file <strong>\u201cSupports &#8211; Metatray\u00ae &#8211; PEMSA.rvt\u201d<\/strong> from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pemsa-rejiband.com\/bim\/\">our BIM section<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Open the file.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the <strong>Insert<\/strong> tab, click <strong>Load Family<\/strong>, locate the object, and load it into your project.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the <strong>Systems \/ MEP<\/strong> tab, use the <strong>Cable Tray Fitting<\/strong> tool, or alternatively, go to the <strong>Architecture<\/strong> tab and use the <strong>Component<\/strong> tool.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can now place the object into your project.
